The southern waterfront of Singapore is made up of a nice composition of skyscrapers in the background with the nostalgic architecture of Fullerton Hotel, once the post office headquarter, a statue of the iconic Merlion and Anderson Bridge.
Singapore Waterfront is a is a 3.5 kilometre long walking path lying across the bay and connecting the Bayfront, Marina Centre and Collyer Quay in Singapore. The waterfront is lined with boutique stores and fancy restaurants. People who visit this place also come here for the beautiful sunsets and the view of the skyscrapers. The main attraction of the waterfront is the Merlion statue.
The Merlion statue is now located in front of The Fullerton Hotel. This iconic symbol is not to be missed when one travels to Singapore. Weighing 70 tonnes, the 8.6 metre tall statue faces the east as it is believed this direction brings prosperity.
